All Jasmin products are fully certified organic (CO). Elly B and Organicspa have mostly organic ingredients and aim for the highest possible percentage, the lowest being around 75-85%. In Australia, to be classed as fully certified organic rather than just containing such the whole product must have no less than 95% fully certified organic ingredients, and the last 5% often being water. The main advantages, benefits and facts with these products and all their producers philosophies is that there is also no damaging, harmful or dangerous ingredients in them. All skin care advertised is guaranteed free of harmful chemicals and dangerous ingredients that in other brands may not have ever been tested for human safety. Apparently up to 90% of ingredients in the market at the moment have never been tested, and, many that have been tested and proven to be dangerous, still remain.
Not all certification processes are the same. Out of certification bodies the OFC (Australian - Organic Food Chain) and the USDA (USA) have the highest standards of ingredients in products and what is allowed or not allowed. For instance some bodies state that a product can state it is certified organic if it contains as little as 10% organic ingredients. The OFC and USDA standards must be over 70%, other ingredients must be naturally derived, water and minerals cannot be counted as certified organic, the products must be free of petrochemicals, parabens, dioxins and sulphates. The OFC & USDA are independent, government approved, certification bodies, not created by skin care companies or corporations whose main agenda is questionable.

If you are prepared just to organise the best possible skin care as a daily routine to maintain your skin as best you can then all you need is a good cleanser and moisturiser, if however your skin is very demanding, dry, mature, dehydrated or damaged then it will need more, possibly requiring an intensive oil or serum for ultimate repair and maybe even two moisturisers for optimum protection, as well as a separate eye cream and possible bi-weekly exfoliation. It could also require intensive in house salon treatments in order to bring it back to life again. I specifically do not recommend mask products for this purpose although they are available for those who cannot manage to have regular treatments.
These products are priced very similarly, the main difference being in sizes available and therefore value for money, they are all fabulous products that will help you achieve your goals. More importantly, choices are dependent on the condition of YOUR skin and what you want to get from it. Remember these products are pretty special, much more time, effort, concern, care and love have gone into the production of these ranges than any other I know of, their certification processes are costly, time consuming, tedious and slow. Sourcing the best possible options for ingredients and alternatives to the norm also considerably time consuming and more expensive, that is part of the deal, organics do not use what is widely and cheaply available, they prefer to choose and utilise what is best for you and your skin. It is worth the extra cost and, we are worth the prevention of illness, toxicity and related diseases.
